Legally Blind Teen Invents Vision Device

When Florida teen Cody Smith found out he was not able to drive because of his visual impairment, a realization sank in: his disability really was a disability.

He hoped that technology could help him in some way but after exhaustive research, found nothing.  One day, a solution dawned on him and TruV was born.

Read about Cody's invention and our interview with him about what inspired his invention, which inventor he admires, and the essential qualities of a great inventor.
